Here's a video of of the thunderstorms in New Jersey yesterday, April 1st 2023! Video was taken around Berkeley Heights and Watchung from about 6:30pm to 8 or so. Got to see some cool lightning from the cells to the south, but the storms were much weaker up this way.
I noted the 2 tornadoes in the video text, however the NWS confirmed 4 so far in NJ. The Jackson and Howell tornadoes being EF-2 each, with the Cinnaminson tornado rated at EF-1. The 4th was in Sea Girt. Pretty active day to start the severe season! Wonder if this will be known as the April Fools Day outbreak or something.
