September 14th 1999 - The moon is blasted out of orbit by a nuclear explosion and hurled into deep space taking the inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha with it on a Fantastic perilous Journey! Key to the Alphans' survival is the Eagle Transporter, a unique reconnaissance craft able to travel in space as well as enter planetary atmosphere. For Deep Space recognisance extra propulsion may be required. This is provided by the use of booster rockets anchored to the topside main frame. Near to Moonbase Alpha itself, Laser Tanks are used in surface surveillance and defence while small two men Moon Buggies transport personnel over short distances on the moons surface. This fantastic Deluxe Gift Set includes 4 items, - The Laboratory Eagle Transporter, The Booster Rockets, The Laser Tank and The Moon Buggy all in scale . The 12 inch Diecast Metal Eagle model is a highly detailed replica of the Laboratory Eagle Transporter as seen on the TV series and the Central Pod is detachable. The Laser Tank measures over 4 inches long, and features a rotating turret, the Booster Rockets also measure just over 4 inches long and clip to the Eagles top main frame, and the Moon Buggy which measures 1 inch long and includes a mini figure. Comes in the original box with the cardboard inner tray doubles as the Eagle Launch Platform Display.
