But in this alternate history, he finds not a hesitant emperor, but a living god, Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent, who never left his people. This single divine choice pivots the entire course of human history. We explore a world where Tenochtitlan becomes a global power, the Spanish invasion is thwarted, and the trajectory of technology, culture, and power is changed forever. This is the story of the world remade when a god chose to stay.
