Every engineer should learn the basics of trigonometry. you can find out skew length of bridge, embankment slope, haunch bar cutting length, RE WALL slope and much more. Here in this example I have taken a case of Box Culvert in which we will find out the skew length of culvert, you can also apply it for any structure. we will also find out the vary reinforcement area of box culvert, and also use of trigonometry in calculation of Haunch bar and Similarly you can find out the length of bracket bar and shear key ring.
