in 1991, the majority of the group of Victoria B Kings under Collela Mazee wanted to compose a political song to celebrate the change in the Sheria that allowed multiparty system. Collela was against it. Opiyo Emma and Odongo were determined to go it all the way. Collela reminded Odongo that Moi regime had jailed him three times and would do it the fourth time. Odongo then told Collela that at this time "Nita Chomeka" but I'll go all the way.
Next Opiyo Emma & Odongo Agwata met with Zacheus Okoth Mapesa and Dr.Ogenya Wema (owner of Oruba Nursing Home) and agreed on production and financing. Opiyo & Odongo, therefore invited Omoya Sherry, Ali Oyuech, Peter Odiwuor, Owich Janyaranga, Onyango Orego rego, Rich wuod Abandu, Ndugu Rabby (from B Kings) and Omondi Senior, Jossy Jakombato & Okidi Sam (from Omore Kings) and they formed The Victoria Chomeka (Jamigori1, 2020).
