Best spiced hot chocolate with top tips!

I love a cup of hot chocolate with extra warmth! This recipes uses the method of masala chai to extract all the fragrant goodness of the spices.

Mixed peppercorns add warmth without intense heat. And pink peppercorns are actually from the cardamom family!

I filed this recipe for London’s Borough Market. It uses 600ml milk, 6 green cardamom pods,
1 tsp mixed peppercorns, 6cm cinnamon stick,
600ml whole milk and 70gm dark chocolate chunks. You can add honey or dark sugar to taste, depending on how you like it!
