I’ll be honest, this song wasn’t really my style. But then I read the meaning and slowly became attached. I think that’s why the lyrics to this song came to me so easily, because I truly felt the message.
I’m really harsh on myself when it comes to singing and music, and I always think, there are about a million people out there better at this one thing then me, so why should I even try? But then I think, hey, even if I may be lacking, or I’m not perfect, music has always been there for me, so I will never leave it.
If something is your passion, never let anything, no negative thinking, no uncertainty, take it away from you.
And if through my passion, I can make somebody smile, or cry, or just forget about everything for a while, that is true gratification.
