Did you know that Richmond County is home to 3-time US Open Sophisticated Swing Division Champions, Sam and Lisa West? The famous dancing duo teaches and promotes shag throughout the country and have even held workshops in France, Spain, England, the Netherlands and aboard cruise ships.
The couple is offering their world renowned shag lessons at the Ballroom in Hamlet with new classes starting this week on Thursday. No partner is required and no experience is necessary. The classes will be on March 17, 24, 31, April 7 and 14. Beginners at 6:30 pm and Intermediates at 7:30 pm. The five lessons are $40.
