A one-off AMV this time (!!!) using clips from one of my favourite movies. If you haven’t seen "Your Name" then there will obviously be spoilers, but I don't think it's the kind of movie where knowing the basic plot ruins your experience of it. Before I saw it, I knew that it was about these two "typical 17-year-old high school students" who suddenly start swapping bodies, but then it turns out that the girl actually died three years ago when a piece of a passing comet crashed and destroyed her town. Even when I re-watch it for the fifth or six time and know exactly what's going to happen, it still gets me. I guess it's just my kind of movie, lol.

Anyway, the song I used is actually Russian! It's the first Russian song I ever heard and I've been dying to use it in a video since 2008 or 2009. I added subtitles for convenience, but I can only hope that the quality of the English translation is decent. I know all of three words in Russian, so I certainly can't judge the accuracy. I used two sources and they more or less said the same thing (unlike the official English version of the song) so I think I got the gist of it. And... I think 2:30-2:50 is my favourite part. I wish the ending was longer.
