Have you ever thought, who is the ENEMY of Knowledge ?
It’s said in Bhagwad Gita that,
कामरूपेण कौन्तेय ज्ञानिनो नित्यवैरिणा || 39||
Lust is the eternal enemy of Knowledge
Lust is opposite to the Brahmcharya
What is called LUST?
In a spiritual context,
Any Desire which is irrelevant to the GOD is called a Lust!
In a general context,
Any Desire which is irrelevant to the GOAL is called a Lust!
Mostly the Lust means the desires for the woman & desires for the genital gratifications
And that desire is the ETERNAL ENEMY of Knowledge !

In Mahabharat, Mahatma Vidurji has given great statement especially for the students
सुखार्थिनः कुतो विद्या नास्ति विद्यार्थिनः सुखम् ।
सुखार्थी वा त्यजेद् विद्यां विद्यार्थी वा त्यजेत् सुखम् ॥
Those who are running after pleasures, can not acquire knowledge & those who are running after the Vidya, knowledge should never expect the pleasures.
Either you sacrifice pleasures for the sake of Goal or sacrifice your Goal for the sake of pleasures!
Finally, the choice is yours !!
And your choice will determine your future
