With word that Team Plasma is headed for Icirrus City, Hilbert departs for Twist Mountain, which he must cross if he wants to intercept them before they accomplish their mission. However, before he can enter, he is stopped by Cheren, who has recently acquired a Jet Badge of his own.
Cheren:
Hilbert's competitive rival returns once more, aiming to prove he is the strongest Trainer. Will Hilbert be able to best him again?
Unfezant:
The Tranquill that Cheren used before has now evolved into an Unfezant. It knows Roost, Detect, Taunt, and Air Slash.
Simipour:
Cheren's Panpour looks to have evolved since its last battle. It can use Leer, Fury Swipes, Lick, and Scald.
Liepard:
This Pokémon still looks quite fast. It is capable of using Fake Out, Torment, Hone Claws, and Assurance.
Servine:
The first partner Pokémon that Cheren chose in Nuvema Town remains his ace in the hole. It has Mega Drain, Leaf Blade, Leech Seed, and Slam in its arsenal.
