Für mich ist Judas Priest der Inbegriff von Metal – eine absolute Legende und ein riesiges Vorbild für meine eigene Musik. Und Painkiller? Der heilige Gral des Metal. Natürlich kann man so einem Monster von Song nie ganz gerecht werden, aber hey – ich bin Fan und Musiker. Mit Debauchery hab ich den Track 2015 schon mal gecovert, aber zum neuen Musikvideo wollte ich jetzt eine frische BLUTGOTT-Version. Sehr nah am Original – nur mit einer extra Portion Bösartigkeit.
Die neue Version wird Teil des kommenden "Legions of Metal" Albums (Release 10.10.2025)."

For me, Judas Priest is the epitome of metal - an absolute legend and a huge role model for my own music. And Painkiller? The holy grail of metal. Of course, you can never quite do justice to such a monster of a song, but hey - I'm a fan and a musician. I covered the track with Debauchery back in 2015, but now I wanted a fresh BLUTGOTT version for the new music video. Very close to the original - just with an extra dose of evil.
The new version will be on of the upcoming Legions of Metal album (release date: October 10, 2025).
