This is a WiP test of the Sonic 3 & Knuckles PC MIDI music remade using the additional GS instruments and bank switching abilities of the Roland SC-88Pro. The project is still ongoing and not finished. Sonic 3 is being played via PCEm using Windows 98 SE and emulating an Intel 233 MHz Celeron. Sonic 3 PC is very speed sensitive, but will work in full screen or tricking the full screen into a double sized window. MIDI is being output via TOSLINK from a Roland SC-D70 which has been mapped into SC-88Pro mode. The D70 is capable of being able to switch between SC-55, 88, 88Pro, and 8820 MIDI maps via SYSEX commands.
Now watch me struggle to play this game on a keyboard. XD
