The anthem that started it all in America, "God Save The King" was the Royal Colonial Anthem of The Colony of America from 1707-1776. Today the anthem in America is only used for Diplomatic occasions ( Like one here: • The White House 2007: British State Visit ... ) or mostly, for entitlement during British Heritage Ceremonies ( Like one here: • 2d Marine Division Band ). The anthem is traditionally known for it's role in America Today for the Republic version of the anthem named "My Country, 'Tis of Thee", Unofficially known as "America".
