In this luthier video I'm showing how to first prepare a veneer to be glued onto the rear of a 6 string bass guitar headstock. Later on in the video I'm gluing and clamping it up and then trimming to shape.
I'll be using moisture, heat and steam to get the bend into the veneer as it runs over the volute.
