Glastonbury Tor as seen from the ancient mound on Saint Edmund's Hill, west of Glastonbury Tor, on the winter solstice of 2014. The rising sun is seen to quite literally climb up the Tor over a period of around 30 minutes, before sitting upon Saint Michaels tower, and then lifting up into the sky.
