I'm Learning to Use Peltiers Effectively w/ Solar Power

Recorded September 2024 - VLOG - after dozens of experiments and months of tinkering (not to mention spending a lot of money), I am sharing another progress update. In these tests and experiments, I want to learn to use Peltier modules for making better coolers, refrigerators, possible freezers and even air conditoners. My goal is to learn to use Peltiers more effectively, gaining more cooling per Watt of DC power used. At first I did not think this was possible.

The first step was to ignore everything on YouTube and concentrate on following my own path. I have many different ideas and theories to test. It takes many hours, weeks and months to sort through all the different possible combinations. But after several more recent tests, I learned it IS possible to improve peltier performance.

After seeing some rather encouraging results, I am moving ahead to build a solar powered refrigerator prototype that hopefully will have OK performance. If it works well enough, perhaps even a freezer would be possible :)

I am working on the small prototype fridge right now and will upload and share the results as soon as humanly possible.
