Free Course: Should I breed or hatch chickens?

This is a free course for anyone who is thinking of either hatching chickens or breeding chickens. We give all the information to help you decide what is right for you, what equipment you'll need and the decisions you'll need to make.

We breed Buff Orpington chickens. We use fertilised eggs from our own flock as well as buying in fertilised eggs. We also use artificial incubators and broody hens. We'll take you through the pros and cons of each choice of obtaining your eggs and method of incubation, all from our own experience.
Finally we'll give you an idea of what might go wrong, not to scare you off, but so that you can prepare and decide before any issues arise, how you would like to deal with them and if any of the solutions we propose, work for you.
