This is a time lapse of a beautiful red and green pear. I've explained my process for painting this pear, but I don't always paint the same way - so my next pear may be painted in a slightly different manner. I could have kept going with the detail but there comes a time when you just need to stop!
I'm a natural history illustrator living in Jerrabomberra, near Canberra, Australia. I've been painting botanical watercolours for many years and more recently insects.
