In this episode Dan continues working on building a set of 5 HO scale super-detailed locomotives to reproduce a consist he photographed on the front of a Southern Pacific freight train in Truckee, California in 1993. This segment focuses on Conrail 6283, which is based on a Kato HO scale SD40 model. Dan works on building a custom speaker enclosure and explains his rationale for speaker choice and placement. This locomotive will eventually have DCC and sound! Dan also works on installing fiber optics for the rear headlights.
