Our Family Takes The Gingerbread House Contest Very Seriously

There’s only ONE winner in our annual gingerbread house contest — and after 25+ years, the competition gets more and more intense 🎄🏠

This family tradition is one of my favorite days of the year. We go all out decorating gingerbread houses, judging designs, and debating who deserves the win (opinions are strong 😅). After the contest, we hop on a bus and head into Boston to keep the tradition going with sightseeing and ice skating ⛸️✨

We spend time around Faneuil Hall, soak in the holiday atmosphere, and lace up our skates at the Frog Pond ❄️ It’s cozy, competitive, nostalgic, and full of family chaos — exactly how the holidays should feel ❤️
