Brave Louisa May Alcott Fourth Grader Honored by Police for Saving Toddler

A fourth-grade scholar at Louisa May Alcott School is being hailed as a hero after saving a toddler from a potentially life-threatening situation.
While boarding her school bus to go to school, Allison noticed a small child wandering alone in the street wearing only a T-shirt. Realizing the danger, Allison immediately alerted the bus driver and took swift action.
“I saw the girl walk out, and the bus driver was about to hit her,” Allison said. “I was like, ‘Stop!’”
She quickly got off the bus and brought the toddler to safety. Allison wrapped the toddler in her sweatshirt because she noticed she was cold and gave her a snack. Her quick thinking and courage likely saved the toddler’s life.
