No structured overlay is complete without a top coat.

But let’s be real, sometimes we nail the builder gel application so good that we are hesitant to ruin the overlay with the top coat.

And here’s the thing, no two overlays are the exact same. Sometimes one is thicker, sometimes, the nails are very short, other times we have several art mediums going on, and oftentimes clients, like us, don’t want nails to get too thick.

And so we want to make sure we have a vast knowledge of the different top coats out there and most importantly the different characteristics to look out for when deciding on the two or three that will inevitably make it into your toolbox.

In this video I will help you understand top coats, so that you can confidently choose the one that compliments and finishes your overlay beautifully without ruining it.
