Another video where all the locations have been visited by car and with social distancing maintained at all times. We are mostly focussed on the WCML for this video, we have plenty of freight to enjoy, including three Class 86 workings, a pair of Class 90s running light and the Network Rail HST as well. It should also be noticed that the Pendolinos now are in either base white or Avanti West Coast livery and the Desiro units also carry an array of different liveries!
After starting at Cow Roast (near Tring) where we see our first pair of Class 86s heading south, we next head to Stewartby to see West Midlands Trains Class 230, 230005, working a crew refresher trip. The line has been closed to passengers since the start of Covid19 with bus replacements operating.
We move back to the WCML at Bradwell (north of Milton Keynes) where we see two nortbound freight workings and a Class 325 heading south.
Castlethorpe brings us several more freights along with the Network Rail HST heading to Euston. We next head north to Ansty where there is plenty of freight traffic, including a pair of Class 90s working light loco to Crewe along with another pair of Class 86s on a Freightliner working headed north.
Next we leave the WCML briefly and head to the MML at Ampthill, we see a total of four HSTs, of which one is a recent transfer from LNER.
As the sun sets we find ourselves at Soulbury and Old Linslade (north of Leighton Buzzard) and have plenty of traffic to view including our final pair of Class 86s heading north.
