j5create used Computex 2025 to underline fifteen years of Taiwanese R\&D with a very hardware-centric narrative: every demo revolved around higher bandwidth, cleaner power, or tighter AI integration. The booth roadmap stretched from USB4 pocket hubs to Thunderbolt 5 eGPU docks, and the common thread was “one-cable” convenience at 40 Gbps or better. More than a dozen model codes were on display, but the keynote pieces were the Stream Station Pro capture console, the Power Base all-in-one dock, and a 380 W GaN charger that hits 240 W on a single port. www.j5create.com
The Stream Station Pro (JVA88) is a desk-sized production switcher that ingests three HDMI inputs plus USB-C, records at 4K 60, and exposes scene switching on a capacitive touchscreen. Dual independent program feeds, per-channel audio faders, and OBS profile hand-off make it usable for Twitch or corporate webinars without extra control surfaces
For travellers, j5create shrank its dual-4K USB4 dock into the JTSA302 monitor-mount cube: two HDMI 2.1 ports at 4K 60, 1 GbE, SD 4.0, micro-SD 4.0, 100 W PD pass-through and a ten-in-one layout that leaves enough bandwidth for simultaneous NVMe transfers or 2.5 GbE upgrades
A separate Flexport Cube replaces the second display output with a single HDMI running 4K 144 Hz, pairing that with two USB-A, two USB-C, and 100 W PD in a palm-size form factor. It runs the same USB4 PHY, so the 40 Gbps pipe never bottlenecks high-refresh gaming monitors.
Power Base integrates a 180 W PSU inside a full desk dock: dual 4K HDMI, 10 Gbps USB-C and USB-A, 2.5 GbE, UHS-II card reader, combo audio jack, and 27 W / 18 W front charging. One USB4 cable both powers and backhauls a MacBook while Kensington lock points tick the enterprise security box.
On the high end, Thunderbolt 5 docks JTD5172 and JTD5174 push triple-8K 60 with Bandwidth Boost to 120 Gbps when needed; the 5174 adds an MXM GPU/NPU cartridge and M.2 slot, effectively turning an ultrabook into an AI workstation without tearing down the desk setup ([techpowerup.com][1])
Wireless display came via the JVAW80 Screencast Mini, a proprietary-silicon HDMI sender that speaks AirPlay, Miracast, DP-Alt, and peer-to-peer modes. Teachers can boot it without Wi-Fi credentials, and latency stays low enough for on-screen annotation in classrooms or meeting rooms
j5create’s JUP67380 six-port GaN block closes the loop: 240 W-rated top USB-C, 100 W mid port, two 20 W phone ports, and twin 140 W outs for MacBook Pro-class laptops. A detachable six-foot coupler reroutes wall-wart weight to the tabletop, a small ergonomic win
