Aswani's heart is now beating again in a 55-year-old army man in Pune after the vital organ was airlifted from Indore and transplanted at the Army Institute of Cardio-Thoracic Sciences (AICTS), Pune.
The police band performed to pay tribute to the deceased. Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani, Divisional Commissioner Pawan Sharma, Dean of MGM Medical College Dr. Sanjay Dixit, and others were also present to pay their respects.
