In this part of the story, Medina is involved in a stressful and unexpected day. While she was taking care of her sister, she suddenly receives a strange call from Agha Ruhollah. Ruhollah, in a worried tone, asks her to immediately go to the lawyer's house because Hussein has fallen ill. Medina, without a moment's hesitation, takes the necessary medicines and, despite Zainab's attempts to dissuade her, decides to get to the children no matter what.

When Medina arrives home, she is met with a cold and nervous reaction from Fatima. Madina, angry at being left unaware of the children's illness, asks Fatima why she didn't call him in such a situation. But Fatima not only refuses to help, but also throws her out of the house.
