Most teenagers continue accessing platforms either because their accounts haven't been flagged, they've passed age verification, or parents are helping them maintain access. Experts argue that education and parental empowerment are more effective than banning nine platforms, noting that 87% of Australian parents of primary-age children already help their children bypass the existing 13-year age requirement.
