Pati is a mother, activist, dancer, puppeteer and Dartmouth College professor. Her professional focus is the exploration of political and social problems through the arts.
She is the Creator and Facilitator of Telling My Story (TMS), an interdisciplinary arts program that works on the development of self-awareness and communication skills through the arts. One branch of the program is the class Telling Stories for Social Change; an innovative class/program that brings together students from Dartmouth College with people in correctional facilities and rehab centers in the effort to name and confront the visible and invisible walls that socially divide us; and limit us.
