I marched Bluecoats from 2007-2010. It was an honor to march such a historic corps and then to see them have so much success after my time has been incredible. To the @Bluecoats members, continue to set the foundation for the future. I hope many more alumni get to experience what I have been able to the past 15 years. Oh...and BRING BACK THE HELMETS
Thank you!

What a year. Creep, Quadraphonics, and a drumline that could have won the percussion title. My favorite moment of the show has to be the Baritones on the front sideline ripping. Especially the flutter tongue parts...gets me hyped every time.

The year with 2 ballads but this one really spoke to me. The slow turn from backfield, horns to the box, and a beautiful brass moving line that trades off the melody between high and low brass. Such a great chance for the hornline to show off. And it brings tears to my eyes. Beautifully written by Doug Thrower.

The first year of the current design team (IIRC). When the corps joins in unison in the block form is such a huge moment in the show. The guard tossing the America flags, the call back motif, the roaring horns, and all while the corps is running around the field in the last minute of their show. I know they were tired but damn they ended so well. So proud of this show.

This corps was on fire from the start of the season. Even early on we knew something special was brewing, but 2nd place was beyond a lot of Alumni's expectations (we had never gotten higher than 3rd). Hymn of Axiom was such a massive moment that it couldn't be overshadowed by the pitch bend. So powerful, yet subtle, and EXPOSED. Great job Bloo14

I saw this show on the 5th row at DCI finals...the ENERGY on the field was untouchable. The moment when the horns turn front and start the halftime portion...damn. The sound is unforgettable.
2016 - 04:20
It is easy to choose the ending to a show as a favorite part because of the speed, volume, excitement...but I had to choose it. The three dimensional drill utilizing the ramps, the BONES, the screaming trumpets...come on...no one could touch these guys that year. Finally a gold medal in the Bluecoats trophy case.
2017 - 05:42
This show was SO hard. You could tell from the stands...but Bloo fought well that year. This part with the half time into the INSANE drill in the back half of the form. Someone give those guys a break...Incredible guard moment to close out the section too. Oh and, "6 words"
2018 - 06:15
I have been very against voiceovers (before, during, and after I marched)...but this vocalist blended so well with the corps that this part of the show was easily my favorite. What a great show to feature an incredible vocalist.
2019 - 07:24
They just performed their entire show...and then add on 'Hey Jude' at the very end of the year, what a moment. The whole piece feels half time but the horns are sprinting in circles while playing, incredible. What an awesome show and rightly deserved the highest score in Bloo history.
2021 - 08:10
A year after the COVID shutdown...Bluecoats did not have to go this hard...but I am so glad they did. Starting slow with the low brass and then the addition of the rest of the voices. The Piccolo Trumpet signing over top of the corps and the chord building throughout all while the percussion provide the beat to just bob your head throughout...so sick.
2022 - 08:54
Dude...watching this for the first time BLEW MY MIND. I think I created either my 1st or 2nd Youtube Short just to this Keytarist....incredible. Hornline and Keytar go together like Jelly and smoooooth peanut butter. Thank you Bluecoats for trying something like this....y'all were rockstars that night.
2023 - 10:18
I love a brass moment...clearly. A ballad with brass this good, while doing uniform body while on the move....all while uniform sways from the choreography creates such an amazing moment.
2024 - 10:57
Just an amazing moment from a corps that never looked back and only forward to an iconic season. Soaring Trumpets, Mello runs, chord building low brass, quintessential Doug Thrower on display. All while the percussion is playing thousands of notes...dude...
2025 - 11:53
Tubas...my GOD...then the trumpets with the rhythm, then the jam session!....MELLO RIPS....MELLO RUNS.... This corps knew how to perform. Every night...they knew how to perform. No matter who went on before or after them...you remember the 2025 Bluecoats.
