[EP14] Grand Finale - Motorcycle Tour Concludes and Italian Romance Begins! | Two Hearts, One Motorcycle, Endless Alps - The Classic Alpine Adventure    / @noahtt  
Il Gran Finale! The amazing conclusion to almost 3 weeks in Europe. The motorcycle tour concluded with a final ride from Salzburg, Austria to Olching, just outside of Munich Germany. A casual day riding, albeit a hot one, we reflected on the epic riding over the last 2 weeks. The motorcycle tour would end, but we were heading back into Italy to celebrate our Anniversary! After picking up a rental car at the Munich Airport, we drove south retracing some of our previous path on our way to Miramonti, an idyllic boutique hotel in the mountains outside of Merano, Italy. A serene environment, thoughtful service, and immense gratitude for having found "the good place," a space to slip into the moment and just let it all flow. Iconic views, infinity pool, saunas, and bathrobes all day long followed by elevated food and wine, oh, and desserts. We will be back. The roundtrip ride north over a familiar pass, we made our way through Innsbruck, Austria before arriving in Munich, and returning the rental car. One more night in Germany before flying home. Can something be an adventure of a lifetime if you can do it again? Absolutely! We will be back!

[The Journey - Two Hearts, One Motorcycle, Endless Alps - The Classic Alpine Adventure]

The European Alps are a unique epic setting for a motorcycle adventure. The magic of a motorcycle journey over endless Alpine mountain passes in Europe is idyllic. Where the word switchback is replaced by hairpin, and the road you're on traverses countries, culture, and history. Countless High-Alpine passes present a menu of options each and every day, as you throttle through villages, past mountains, glaciers, and lakes. The people and places that you visit are each day's gift, as you make your way to a new destination promising great food and wine, as well as beer. The road offers up espresso, gelato, and apple strudel at the tops of mountain passes and in towns along the route. You're in the elements rain or shine. Twisting the throttle as the motorcycle engine plays along with the cow bells, the only thing that is more adept at climbing those steep passes are the cows hanging out on the edge. The Alps in Europe are the quintessential playground for each and every motorcyclist. Breathtaking, exhilarating, exhausting, and glorious, each day is a lifetime of experiences on the motorcycle. What an adventure!

This was my 4th motorcycle tour through the Alps in Europe, and the first one where my wife Jeanette would be joining me.
