Lamgao Lake, once a lifeline for our village, has been destroyed by reckless mining activities.I humbly request the Hon. MLA of Bicholim — please do not silence the voice of a farmer’s son who stands for truth and nature.We don’t need mere assurances — we need action.First, ensure that Lamgao Lake is included in the Bicholim Municipal Council Biodiversity Management Committee’s People’s Biodiversity Register (PBR).Then, take immediate steps to declare it as a Wetland and begin renovation and restoration work to revive its natural ecosystem.This lake is not just water — it’s our heritage, our farmer’s hope, and our children’s future.Let’s save Lamgao Lake before it disappears forever.— Sachin Prakash Mayekar
