Check out our trip down the Mekong Delta! While we were in Saigon, we took a day trip out to the delta - a maze of rivers and islands that is home to various fishing villages, floating markets, and more.
We got to see how coconut candies are made (and taste a few along the way) and sample SNAKE WINE which is exactly what it sounds like - alcohol fermented with snakes in it. It was just okay, but an experience all on its own. We ate a delicious lunch of authentic Vietnamese food, had dessert of various tropical fruits, and drank some honey wine. Oh yeah, and we held a python? Cool.
