EMPTY A380 take-off!

There’s something different about this Emirates Airbus A380 take-off at Manchester Airport – there are no passengers onboard!

ℹ️ This flight, along with several others, was diverted to Manchester from London Heathrow due to stormy conditions. The aircraft spent the night at the airport whilst the divert passengers were sent on buses or trains down to London.

The next morning, the mighty plane lined up to reposition to Dubai and departed the runway with only crew onboard! This resulted in the A380 being lighter than usual and be able to achieve a high rate of climb out of the airport and airspace!!
