ଆଜି ହେଉଛି ଇଂରାଜୀ ନୂଆବର୍ଷ। ଯାହାକୁ ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଲୋକେ କେତେ କ'ଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସମସ୍ତେ ଆଜିର ଦିନକୁ ମଉଜ ମଜଲିସ କରି କାଟୁଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆଜି ବି କିଛି କର୍ମଚାରୀ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଭଳି ନିଜ ଡ୍ୟୁଟିରେ ବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେମିତି ଜଣେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଟ୍ରାଫିକ ପୋଷ୍ଟରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଚିନ୍ତାରେ ଥିବା ଚରୁଆ ତିର୍କି। ସେହିପରି ଜଣେ ସବିତା ବେହେରା। ଯିଏ ସବୁଦିନ ପରି ଆଜି ବି ସକାଳୁ ଘର କାମ ସାରି ରାଉରକେଲା ସରକାରୀ ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାରେ ଡ୍ୟୁଟିକୁ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି।

At a traffic post, Charua Tirki stayed alert to ensure public safety. Similarly, Sabita Behera, after completing household work early in the morning, reported for duty at the Rourkela Government Hospital, just like on any other day.
