This song is from the pens of Charles Tobias, Archie Gottler and Maceo Pinkhard. The pianist is Howard Harry Lutter (1889-1959), who was a native of Newark, New Jersey. Of German ancestry, he was a pupil of Prof. Karg and Rafael Joseffy. Lutter was not only a pianist but also the leader of an excellent orchestra. He was chief editor of popular music for the De Luxe Roll Corporation, makers of piano rolls for the Welte-Mignon (Licensee) Reproducing Piano. He died at the age of 70 in Los Angeles in 1959.
