As per Sanjana's malevolent advice, Ayush's step-grandparents attempt to take Soha away in this episode. They had even purchased a lawyer to accompany them. Soha begins to cry and refuses to leave, but Ayush's grandparents ignore her. Ayush arrives to defend Soha and informs them that this is the only place where she truly finds happiness. After becoming emotional, his grandparents decide to allow Dev and Sonakshi tonight to make their decision. As Soha continues to cry, Ayush comforts her and tries to explain that this is just for her family. Sonakshi persuades Dev to change his mind about Sanjana, and they head downstairs to meet up. Dev and Sonakshi are in court in this episode about Suhana's custody. Dev's lawyer names Sanjana's ex as their final suspect, but she has already come forward and has saved his offensive communications with her, which she has now used to reject his testimony. Sanjana is currently winning. She is supported by the judge, who makes the final decision on Monday. Sanjana gives Sonakshi a final hug after the court and requests that she file for divorce and come see her on Monday so that she may attend Dev and her wedding. Sonakshi is dejected. Soha experiences a nightmare.
