With the movement of data into the cloud and the rise of cybersecurity threats, companies increasingly want to ensure their data is protected. Existing technologies can protect data at rest and data in motion by using encryption. Intel Trust Domain Extensions (Intel TDX) protects all data belonging to a virtual machine and the corresponding processing in use. One key aspect of this protection is the encryption of all data in the main memory. The Intel TDX protected virtual machines are called Trust Domains (TDs) and they are capable to execute popular workloads without any software modification. Come learn how easy it is to launch a TD, see the main memory protection in action, and explore how the protection is proven using attestation.
