In this video we cut down some trees to create some whitetail habitat on our property. These big laydowns create thickets that allow sunlight to penetrate the forest allowing for the growth of grasses and saplings. The whitetail use these thickets for security from predators and protection from the weather. It's important to position these thickets near your property's food plots to help keep the deer on your property.
