How to replace Multi-Display Anti-glare Lens on Lexus IS250 IS350 and RC350 RC-F


Multi-Display Lens Replacement
This is a very common problem on earlier 2014 manufactured 3rd Generation Lexus IS and also Lexus NX.
I am not sure if it effects Lexus RC but it could be. Those steps I show should apply to that car if you need to get yours done.

This is so common that there is a technical service bulletin issues by Lexus to get this taken care of free of charge if you are within warranty. Some people may miss the deadline of the warranty or you may find a dealership that doesn't want to assist (stating its negligence of owner using wrong product but water and microfiber towel will take it off easily) or know how to so you can do it yourself instead with the right part number.

The Anti glare lens screen replacement you will need is

To replace you will need a some standard and specialty tools.
-10mm Socket and ratchet set
-Panel pry removal tool http://amzn.to/2EfqUQB

-Phillip screw driver
-Precision screw driver set http://amzn.to/2BVQWDt (for smaller screws on the screen)

For removal of interior panels, it is good to have your basic tools such as sockets,. ratchet and screwdriver, BUT also a good plastic pry tool set.
