Installing A Spring and Washer On a New Kitchenaid Mixer

Protect and Upgrade your machine with this simple fix! We recommend a regrease in conjunction with this repair as you will be removing the planetary which is arguably the most "intimidating" portion of the process!

In this video we discuss the proper practice to install a new spring and washer on agitator shaft of the KitchenAid Mixer. The springs were removed in approximately 2016 and were deemed to provide "no function". However we in the repair world know this is not truthful!

Since the spring and washers are no longer manufactured, we took it upon ourselves to give the people what they want! We manufactured the spring and washer to suit your needs and desire.
