SKEGNESS | Is this really the WORST seaside town in the UK?
The seaside town of Skegness was recently voted one of the worst seaside towns in England. We take a look to see if that's true with a walking tour of Skegness beach and seafront.

Poor old Skegness, it's the worst seaside town in Britain again. The results of the latest Which? survey have landed and the iconic Lincolnshire beach resort achieved a score of just 49 per cent, making it bottom of the pile for the third year running.

Consumer magazine Which? published its annual survey into the best seaside towns across the UK. Rated for the quality of the beach, local attractions, scenery, peace and quiet and value for money - Skegness ranked the worst, just like it has for the last three years.

The seaside resort gained one out of five stars in almost every category. If you want to look at the bright side, they ranked three out of five for the quality of the beach.

Skegness is a seaside town and civil parish in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire, England. On the Lincolnshire coast of the North Sea, the town is 43 miles east of Lincoln and 22 miles north-east of Boston.

Whether you’re visiting for the day, staying for the weekend or longer, you’ll find your days packed with things to do, places to visit and experiences you’ll never forget.

Walk along the front at Skegness and it's a wonderland of family friendly attractions – go-karting, ten-pin bowling, funfairs and crazy golf are just some of the activities that will keep you entertained. If you want to kick back and relax then the Compass Gardens is a great place to sit and watch the world go by.

The resort’s beach has once again been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag award, giving you peace of mind that it is amongst the cleanest in the world.
