Authentic Relationships Boost Team Performance

Michael Sykes pointed out the key thing that great managers do. It's not simply about knowing the outcome of a project and making sure everyone does their part. This can get you some success and perhaps some results that exceed expectations in the short term.

Transformational leaders understand not just the goal for the team, but the strengths, hopes, and desires of each of their teammates. They then put those people in place to do what they do best.

What do we see when this happens? You'll see those exceptional, long-term results and more importantly your people will have trust and push each other to get above and beyond for the good of the team.
