This is an English grammar lesson about the present continuous tense. We also call this verb tense the present progressive.
The video starts with an explanation of the form which is made up of the verb "to be" and the ing form of the main verb. We look at the affirmative, question and negative forms.
You will then learn the uses of the present continuous and how it is different to the present simple. The general rules is that we use the present progressive to describe an action that is happening now. It is in progress.
Finally I give you some grammar exercises to test your understanding.
