The Outsiders / Trapped Online / Eirini

Eirini grew up without a father figure and, from a young age, sought love and acceptance in the wrong people, something that led her into an abusive relationship at the age of 15. Despite the psychological and physical violence, she found the strength to speak out, report him, and send him to prison. Today, she lives with her trauma, but she is not defined by it — she has turned her pain into power and shares her story to give voice and courage to those who haven’t yet managed to say their own “no.” She is now surrounded by people who truly love her and see her for who she is. The support of her partner and the healthy relationships she has built give her strength and help her heal.

A big thanks to Eirini for sharing her story

Η Ειρήνη μεγάλωσε χωρίς πατρική φιγούρα, και από μικρή αναζητούσε αγάπη και αποδοχή σε λάθος ανθρώπους, κάτι που την οδήγησε σε μια κακοποιητική σχέση από τα 15 της. Παρά την ψυχολογική και σωματική βία, βρήκε τη δύναμη να μιλήσει, να τον καταγγείλει και να τον στείλει στη φυλακή. Σήμερα, ζει με τα τραύματά της αλλά όχι υποταγμένη σε αυτά – έχει μετατρέψει τον πόνο της σε δύναμη, και μοιράζεται την ιστορία της για να δώσει φωνή και κουράγιο σε όσες/όσους δεν έχουν ακόμα καταφέρει να πουν το δικό τους «όχι».Πλέον έχει δίπλα της ανθρώπους που την αγαπούν πραγματικά και τη βλέπουν όπως είναι. Η στήριξη του συντρόφου της και οι υγιείς σχέσεις που έχει χτίσει της δίνουν δύναμη και τη βοηθούν να θεραπεύεται.
