Kimmo's Notes: Wrathwalkers and Havocs synergize extremely well for this mutation. The former outranges the trigger radius of the mines and can overpower Diffusion and the latter hovers without triggering the mines and safely detects them while also buffing range to clear out mines even safer than normal.
A sadistic exploit that Alarak possesses to use Minesweeper to his benefit is intentionally setting off the mines upon a mass of Supplicants to kill them and feed power to the Wrathwalkers. It clears out mines as well as Spider Mines can only be triggered once.
Alarak himself is in a state of limbo because of Diffusion. If he's too close to enemies, he will cause damage to be diverted between himself and enemies. His own attack isn't very useful as a result unless it's a Destruction Wave boosted from Empower Me. However, it is important to know that Diffusion never triggers on killing blows.
In other words, Wrathwalkers have a wide kill threshold that killing blows can be done even when enemies have a good portion of their life left.
Likewise, Empower Me Alarak can still take out a good chunk of enemies if they're within kill range which can infinitely increase with every friendly unit around him. For the time he isn't Empowered, he's restricted to serving as bait for enemies to draw into range of Wrathwalkers while keeping enemies away from the Wrathwalkers.
The ability to measure distance and keep distance from enemies will be heavily tested in this mutator which can add to the pressure of the quickness of the map's pace. Haste makes waste but don't tarry too long.
