Recomended route from Trent Falls to Hull Marina see Note on changes to Hull Marina for 2023

IMPORTANT NOTE Hull Marina are changing the access to the Marina for 2023. Access between the hours of 22.00 pm to 06.00 am can only be done by giving the marina 24hrs notice of intention. There will not be an on duty lock keeper to gain access on demand.

We were asked by one of our Vip Friends to produce a recomended route through the upper reaches of the Humber from Trent Falls to Hull Marina.
This part of the river is notorious for being shallow, and have many shifting sand bars.
In 2020 there were a number of groundings, some managed to get off on the next tide, others spending many days stuck, one holds the record staying onboard stuck on the mud for 12 days.
ABP Humber carry out frequent surveys of this area, and produce charts for mariners. The link takes you to the catalouge of charts.
