This video is of the Hesse sisters Elisabeth (Ella) and Alix who both married into the Russian royal family and were murdered during the russian revolution in 1918. My thought behind the video and the song choice is that upon their deaths, Alix and Ella are asking to reunite with their beloved mother who they lost to diphtheria when they were young (Ella 14 years old and Alix only 6 years old). In the end we see Princess Alice, Grand Duchess of Hesse and by Rhine (their mother) meeting them at the moment of their deaths.
