I got dropped off solo on a tiny rock in the middle of the ocean to fish all day—no shelter, no backup, just me and the sea.
The day started with a sketchy swim across a deep channel, but it was worth it. I caught beautiful tropical fish, survived off what I landed, and even had a close encounter with what I think was a minke whale cruising right past the rock.
