In this video, we use the Microtrainer Series and Parallel Card to measure voltage at each point in a series circuit. You’ll learn how to set up the Fluke 15B+ multimeter for DC voltage, check the source voltage, and measure voltage before and after each component. We look at how the switch drops almost no voltage, how the resistor reduces the available voltage, and how each LED drops the same amount. By adding the voltage drops together, we confirm the total equals the 5-volt supply. This demonstration shows how voltage divides across loads in a series circuit and why components with higher resistance create a larger voltage drop.
